Some of the children have asked about Egg Day this year (which sounds like it’s been a popular event in previous years!). Due to the current restrictions, we’re going to have to do it a little bit differently this year.
For any children and families that would like to take part, this will be a home learning challenge over the next week. Children can design a hard-boiled egg in any way that they choose – creating a character (and adding some scenery if they wish). For anyone taking part, you should email a picture of your egg with your child’s name and class to cawdor.primary@highland.gov.uk by 9am on Wednesday 31st March 2021. Our egg-cellent judging panel will award our top three egg-stra special designers with a prize on Thursday 1st April 2021 where we’ll share the top entries in a virtual assembly in our classes.
We look forward to seeing entries from those that take part. In our effort to reduce food waste, we hope our children and families enjoy eating their egg as a treat following submitting their photo.
