Enrolment for Primary 1 is next week – Monday 25th January 2021 until Friday 29th January 2021. Due to COVID-19, there is no in-school face-to-face enrolment taking place this year. It is recommended that families complete this process online using the link: https://www.highland.gov.uk/enrol
If you do not have access to technology to enrol online, you can call Cawdor Primary School on 01667 402460 to provide your name and address, and a paper enrolment pack will be sent to you.

Which children are automatically admitted to primary school?
Only children whose fifth birthday falls between 1 March 2021 and the last day of February 2022 will automatically be admitted to Primary 1 in August 2021.
What is deferred entry?
If your child’s birthday falls between 17 August 2021 and the end of February 2022 (e.g. still 4 years old on the school start date in August 2021) you are entitled to defer entry to primary school. If you would like to discuss deferral, please contact us on cawdor.primary@highland.gov.uk or via telephone 01667 402460. If you are considering deferral, you will be able to enrol for both P1 and ELC.
