Return to School Update – Tuesday 5th January 2021

A Happy New Year(!) to all of you at Team Cawdor. I hope that you and your families have been able to enjoy the winter break.

Following the updated announcements from the Scottish Government yesterday, the Education and Learning team at Highland Council have met today and Nicky Grant, Executive Chief Officer for Education and Learning, has asked this evening that we share the letter attached with families.

As previously mentioned, this week remains a holiday period until the 11th of January. On the 11th of January we move to remote learning. Class Teachers will be in touch via SeeSaw at the end of this week to outline the plans. Our period of remote learning has been extended until Monday 1st February 2021; this due for review on the 18th of January. Further information will be shared with families when known.

I will email separately those families that requested key worker childcare provision with details about the childcare provision for this week. This will be using the email that you provided on the Google Form. For those that have indicated that they require key worker childcare, see the updated information in the letter attached.
