Enrolment for Primary 1 is next week – Monday 31st January 2022 to Friday 4th February 2022. Due to COVID-19, there is no in-school enrolment taking place this year. Families are asked to complete this process online using the link:

If you do not have access to technology to enrol online, you can call Cawdor Primary School on 01667 402460 to provide your name and address, and a paper enrolment pack will be sent to you.
Some common questions…
Which children are automatically admitted to primary school?
Only children whose fifth birthday falls between 1 March 2022 and the last day of February 2023 will automatically be admitted to Primary 1 in August 2022.
What is deferred entry?
If your child’s birthday falls between 16 August 2022 and the end of February 2023 (e.g. still 4 years old on the school start date in August 2021) you are entitled to defer entry to primary school. If you would like to discuss deferral, please contact us on cawdor.primary@highland.gov.uk or via telephone 01667 402460. If you are considering deferral, you will be able to enrol for both P1 and ELC.
Will I get a place if I live out of catchment?
If you live out with the catchment, information on placing requests is below – you will need to enrol your child in their catchment school and make a placing request:
